WORD DIRECTIONALITY PUZZLES: These are more advanced and include corresponding letter charts. These 'word puzzles' are completed by following directions. The student is told a designated starting position on a letter chart. From that starting position, the student is instructed to move his eyes up, down, right, or left a specified number of spaces to reach a needed letter to complete the puzzle. This activity really demonstrates whether the student has internalized the concepts of right and left because the additional challenges of visual memory and visual tracking are integrated into the activity, also.
